Amrita Pritam ji was a pride woman of India who took birth in the year 1919. She was an Indian poet, novelist and an Essayist, who wrote in Punjabi and Hindi. 
She is viewed as the principal conspicuous female Punjabi artist, author, writer and the main twentieth century artist of the Punjabi language, who is similarly cherished on the two sides of the India–Pakistan 
outskirt.
With a vocation traversing more than six decades, she created more than 100 books of verse, fiction, accounts, articles, an assortment of Punjabi society melodies and a personal history that were totally converted into a few Indian and remote languages. 
‘Ajj Akhhan Waris Shah Nu’ and ‘Pinjar’ are the most remarkable novels of hers for which she is remembered.
